Last Sunday we continued our Polish-Italian struggle beetwen my Bretonnians and Alessandro greenskins. It was first time I tried my list on 1526 points and after game I decided to update it.
Summary:
– most of Bretonnians unit fled the field, only mounted squires were on field at the end.
– it was great game and I revised my army list a little bit. Reduced number of knights and added one more lance of young Knights Errants. Instead of one her – another damsel lvl 2 was added.
7th and Bretonnia and Orcs&Goblins and Warhammer 05:30
Yesterday we played with Michał Border Patrol game on 500 points using WFB 7th edition rules. Michał wasn’t playing WFB for a long time, so it was time for him to refresh rules.
As Bretonnian (Michał) side decided to pray to the Lady, orcs started first turn of a game.
Summary:
– great game and as it was Border Patrol it’s fast and good to bring back rules of WFB.

Today we played a game on 2250 points with Alessandro. It was horrible defeat of my new Bretonnian roster sheet.
Summary:
– it was great battle, I’m learning new army list.
– Alessandro magic was powerful, my counter wasn’t.
– need to do something with mess in room, as models are everywhere.
– thank you Alessandro, WROHammer vol.3 in only three weeks.
7th and Bretonnia and Games Workshop and Orcs&Goblins and Warhammer 21:05
Today we played with Alessandro battle on 2250 points per side. At least it was some lesson taken by me. This was first battle when I took trebuchet and it was shooting better than my Empire artillery – it was miracle, that guessing and scatter dices were working well both with many hits.
Summary:
– need to update this list with more archers, probably one small unit of knights, take one more wizard instead of paladin (I thought about taking even 3 2nd lvl wizards) – I will reduce units of men at arms to one unit.
– it was good game, at least I know that I need to change army composition a little bit.
7th and Bretonnia and Games Workshop and Orcs&Goblins and Warhammer 19:24
Today with Alessandro we played in Bolter battle for 1500 points per side – I took my first army I ever started on 1997′ and my „enemy” took also old Orc&Goblin army. Compositions of armies were:
Bretonnians:
– 8 Knights of the Realm with Banner of Chalons (full command group) lead by paladin baron Roger (Morning Star of Fracasse and Virtue of Noble Disdain),
– 16 archers (full command group),
– 5 mounted squires,
– 3 pegasus knights (musician),
– 7 Grail Knights with Banner of Defence (full command group) lead by paladin duc Tancred (Grail Vow, Lance of Artois, Virtue of Confidence), Melisanda damsel of the Lady lvl 2 (2x Dispel Scroll),
– battle standard bearer Louis (Grail Vow, Sword of Might, Gromril Great Helm).
Orcs&Goblins:
– 2 units of 29x Night Goblins (including night goblin fanatic – each 3 of them),
– 3 units of 5x goblin wolf riders,
– 5 Savage Orc Boar Boys,
– 9 Orc Boar Boys Big Uns with magic banner (full command group) lead by unknown black orc big boss (with magic weapon and enchanted item),
– Orc Chariot.
– 2 goblin shamans – both had two scrolls and one had arcane item (one of them was on wolf).
Summary:
– we had score of 1110 for me and 1125 for Alessandro – but it could be more by (I guess that Grail Knights wouldn’t held orc boar boys) 654. So it was good victory for Greenskins – generally still it was great game for me (bloodbath).
– Immune to Psychology – unit will not flee from enemy charge (first time fled – shame on me, now I have to build Grail Chapel for the such shame thing I did, we both forgot about this rule).
– at least one more lesson taken by mistake.
7th and Dwarfs and Empire and Games Workshop and Ogres and Orcs&Goblins and Warhammer and WROhammer 19:27
Today we meet to play event in Warhammer Fantasy Battle 7th edition. Our games were for 800 points. Today four of us came: me with Orcs & Goblins (my first game ever with them), Alessandro with his Dwarfs, Kris with his Ogre Kingdoms and Maciej with his Empire. We played in Bolter – today was also a tournament in Lord of the Rings and after talk with Piotrek I think, about playing in it.
Summary:
– we did small event in WFB 7th edition, hope to see more ppl next time – today were almost five of us.
– thanks to Bolter.pl for place to play.
– today I decided to start someting new, still need to stop playing Cyberpunk 2077 first and start waking up early to have more time for painting.
– in few days I want to write some kind of article about current offer of Games Workshop – there are still many sets which can be used in Warhammer Fantasy Battle.

7th and Empire and Games Workshop and Ogres and Orcs&Goblins and Warhammer and WROhammer 16:45
Today we played typical Border Patrol (GW rules) with Alessandro and Krzysztof on 500 points. First game was played beetwen Alessandro Night Goblins vs Krzystof Ogres, second game was played beetwen my Empire and Krzysztof Ogres. I tried to make some scenario, so we agreed that the tower belonged to wizard who perished long time ago. Of course both sides want’s the tower – units 6′ from tower were Immune to Panic.
Summary:
– games on small points can be really nice and fast as well.
– next time we will play on something more, like one thousand points. Maybe I will write some scenario, still it depends of how many of us will be interested.
7th and Bretonnia and Ogres and Orcs&Goblins and Warhammer and WROhammer 18:28
Today with Alessandro and Krzysiek we played Border Patrol on 7th edition of WFB. Alessandro played with band of Orcs & Goblins, Krzysiek with always hungry Ogres and I played noble Bretonnians with many common folk. In something up to three hours we played four games. Today games we played in Planszóweczka in Astra. We played with objective – it was taking church or defend it, but during games no one cared.
Summary:
– I have cursed rolls for knights armour saves, especially for my enemies.
– we will organize it again, maybe in form of small campaign. Need to look on campaigns from 5th edition, maybe we should draw a map – not sure, never played other campaing than those from „Herohammer” era.
– 500 points is great amount to start playing WFB.
– we used revised rules for Border Patrol done by our friends Remo and Profi. Those rules are in Polish.

6th and 7th and Empire and Games Workshop and Kislev and Orcs&Goblins and Warhammer and WROhammer 21:32
On 14.01.2021 we played with Marian (from https://maniexite.blogspot.com/) small game – 1000 points per side, we played in 7th edition, still I used army book for 6th edition Empire. Both sides had everything painted, so it’s a kind of game I like. It happend somewhere in Kislev, on the border with World Edge Mountains.
Empire troops were composed of:
7 Knights Panther with full command group, lead by a captain (equiped as knights) with Banner of Valour
7 Kislev Winged Lancers with full command group, lead by a boyar (equiped as lancer) with Enchanted Shield
10 handgunners with marksman
2 x 5 Ungol Horse archers
Great Cannon
Night Goblins were composed of:
49 Night Goblins with full command group, three fanatics, lead by a hero with Mad Cap Mushrooms
30 Night Goblins with full command group, three fanatcis
10 Squig Hoppers
15 Squigs in a herd, pushed by 9 night goblins
3 Stone Trolls
Summary:
– great game with minor victory for Marian’s Night Goblins – it was 1031 for Marian vs 795 for me (we counted standards, generals, half of units and quarters).
– I really need to replace in such small games one heavy cavalry unit with infantry with detachment.
– there weren’t any magic spells in games and not many magic items at all.

Kolejna odsłona WROhammer’a, tym razem gospodarzem był „Profi”. Zagraliśmy w dwóch czterosobowych zespołach – żółtych i czerwonych. Każdy z uczestników wystawił armię na 1000 punktów, na zasadach 7 edycji WFB. W skrócie: w pierwszej grze celem było zdobycie przedmiotu, drugiej utrzymanie go, w trzeciej zdobywca przedmiotu mógł go użyć.
Next part of WROhammer, this time the host was „Profi”. We played in two teams of four people each – yellows and reds. Each participant developed army for 1000 of points, on rules from 7 edition of WFB. Shortly: in first game our target was to took item, second hold it in our hands and in third players who got item could use it.

Pierwsza gra z Krasnoludami Remo, czary jakie wylosowałem to 1 i 4 z magii życia. First game I played with Remo’s Dwarfs, spells I got were 1 and 4 from Lore of Life.
Bitwa zwierzoludzi Mariana i ożywieńców Generała. Battle beetwen Marian’s Beastmen army and Generals Undead army.
Ale wróćmy do mojej rozgrywki. Krasnoludzka linia. But come back to my own game. Dwarf battle line.
Bretońska linia, oba oddziały rycerzy na prawym skrzydle. Bretonnian battle line, both knight units on right flank.
Żyrokopter przyleciał. Gyrocopter came.
Ruch w stronę kuszników i skarbu kryjącego się na wzgórzu. Move toward crossbowmen and treasure hidden on the hill.
Na innym stole. On the other gameboard.
Rycerze Królestwa rozbili kuszników (nikt nikogo nie trafił i niezdane morale krasnoludów to był pech). KoTR broken crossbowmen unit (no one hit no one and failed morale for Dwarfs was bad luck).
Próba przędzenia krasnoludów ze wzgórza nie wyszła. Attemp to pursue Dwarfs from the hill didn’t passed.
Rycerze Graala rozbici przez zabójców trolli. Grail Knights broken and pursued by troll slayers.
Rycerze Królestwa przybywają z pomocą chorążemu, Panna Graala rzuca Mistresh of Marsh na zabójców trolli. KoTR came to aid army standard bearer, damsel casts Mistresh of Marsh on troll slayers.
Do walki włącza się żyrokopter. Also gyrocopter join fight.
Rycerze Królestwa przeganiają krasnoludy z wzgórza.
Gra na stole obok. Game on board next to us.
Przygotowanie do kolejnej tury. Preparing for next turn.
Armia przygotowana do obrony przedmiotu przed hordą orków Marcina. Czary jakie miałem to 1 i 5 z magii życia. Army prepared for defending item against horde of orcs. I got spell 1 and 5 from Lore of Life.
Horda ruszyła w moją stronę. Horde marched toward my side.
Daleko na prawym skrzydle rycerze królestwa ruszyli naprzeciw orków. Far away on right flank KoTR moved toward the orcs.
Przedmiot ustawiłem w lewym górnym rogu pola bitwy. I placed item on top left corner of battlefield.
Najlepszą obroną jest atak, rycerze Graala ruszyli. The best defence is offence, Grail Knights moved.
I zaszarżowali, niestety gonili za daleko. And charged, unhapilly pursued to far.
Rycerze Królestwa zaszarżowali. KoTR charged.
Rycerze Graala gonili za daleko i wpadli w ogień balist. Grail Knights pursued too far and find themselfs in the fire of goblin spear chuccases.
Trolle poganiane przez czarnego orka rozbiły zbrojnych i wpadły na chorągiew armijną. Trolls whiped by black orc defeated unit of men at arms and get in touch with battle standard bearer.
Rycerze Graala próbowali wrócić, ale byli ciągle blokowani. Grail Knights tried to help, but where blocked all the time.
Po pokonaniu sztandarowego wódz orków położył swoje łapy na skarbie. After defeating battle standard bearer orc chieftain put his hands on treasure.
Kolejna gra z Mrocznymi Elfami Krzyśka. Wylosowałem czary 2 i 5 z magii życia. Another game – this time pitched battle was with Krzysztofs Dark Elves. I got spells 2 and 5 from Lore of Life.

I ruch do przodu. And move forward.
Mój ruch, a właściwie dwie spalone szarże. Jedna o cala, druga o pół cala. Modły do Pani czas zacząć. Diabelska magia przeciwnika. My movement phase, two failed charges. During one I missed inch, in second half of inch. Praying to The Lady should be started. Evil magic of my enemy.
Szarże przeciwnika i ruch oskrzydlający. Charges of my enemy and his flanking move.
Łucznicy ustrzelili kilku mrocznych jeźdźców na tyłach. Archers shoot down few Dark Raiders on the rear.
Początek końca. Resztki rycerzy królestwa padły, podobnie jak i Panna Graala. Beginining of the end. Remnants of KoTRs felt, the same as damsel of the Lady.
Epicka bitwa sztandarowego Graali, który pozbył się rycerzy na Cold One i mrocznych jeźdźców, ale chwilę później był to koniec. Epic battle of Grail Knights unit standard bearer, who destroyed Cold One Knights and Dark Raiders as well, but moment later it was over.
Podsumowanie:
– wielkie dzięki Profi za podjęcie się organizacji, równie wielkie dzięki Planszoweczka.pl za miejsce.
– dzięki wszystkim za wspaniałą atmosferę i przybycie!
– nadal nie wiem co brać na tysiąc punktów Bretonnią.
– z krasnoludami, miałem szczęście i zrobiłem błędy, które łatałem, z orkami błędem było nie danie Graalom przedmiotu, z Mrocznymi Elfami – spaliłem szarże.
