Today we meet to play event in Warhammer Fantasy Battle 7th edition. Our games were for 800 points. Today four of us came: me with Orcs & Goblins (my first game ever with them), Alessandro with his Dwarfs, Kris with his Ogre Kingdoms and Maciej with his Empire. We played in Bolter – today was also a tournament in Lord of the Rings and after talk with Piotrek I think, about playing in it.

  • On left Kris Ogres, on right Alessandro Dwarfs.
  • Cavalry on rhinos – they were in White Dwarf – cool unit.
  • Ogres runned on the Dwarfs battle line.
  • Panic among Ogres with guns.
  • On the other flank one big combat which was losed by Ogres.
  • No Dwarf meat today.
  • Heavily wounded ogre general woke up and runned away (heroes do not die, right?).
  • My greenskins battle line. In front of me Ogres.
  • I played first turn.
  • That cool ball – said shaman after feeding some Night Goblins with mushrooms.
  • One was hit by a ball, another one scored a hit on his comrade. It was 2nd turn.
  • Up the hill.
  • Night Goblins with magic help charged Ogre shooters…
  • and broke them in combat.
  • On the other side Black Orcs were broken by massive charge of Ogres and Ogre cavalry on rhinoxes.
  • Heavily outnumbered by fearful enemy…
  • … black orcs runned for lives.
  • Grasha (Goblin charioteer) – let’s speed up wolfes, it will be fun.
  • Unhapilly it was last words of Grasha.
  • Now freed wolfes runned away.
  • Grisha, Grasha charged and it was fun, we want too.
  • Grisha chariot passed morale and charged.
  • Unhapilly to Grisha, rhinos do not feel that was charged.
  • Orcs slowly moved out of battle.
  • The end of my and Kris battle.
  • Empire troops are coming.
  • Both sides moved forward.
  • Black orcs were charged from front and flank. Fanatics released by my own.
  • Chariots on the flank.
  • Black orcs fought valiantly.
  • Orcs prepare to shoot volley of arrows.
  • Night goblins held for a moment…
  • … but soon were routed.
  • Orc arrer boys charged on swordmen flank and won by one point. Swordsmen fled and were routed.
  • Not great position for orcs.
  • Orcs charged by ogre mercenaries (Rare choice from Dogs of War)..
  • Orcs fled the field.
  • Classical skulpts are great, especially when they are painted.
  • Grisha and Grasha chariots coming back, after destroying artillery and archers.
  • Coming closer.
  • Few bullets and chariot was losed.
  • Second chariot charged ogres, but enemy won combat and due fear and outnumber it fled and crashed on piece of terrain. Only fanatics stayed running. Both sides suffered a heavy loses.
  • First game of Empire and Dwarfs – I took here only few photos.

Summary:
– we did small event in WFB 7th edition, hope to see more ppl next time – today were almost five of us.
– thanks to Bolter.pl for place to play.
– today I decided to start someting new, still need to stop playing Cyberpunk 2077 first and start waking up early to have more time for painting.
– in few days I want to write some kind of article about current offer of Games Workshop – there are still many sets which can be used in Warhammer Fantasy Battle.
