Yesterday we played another game representing siege of Budapest – after initial fail with getting into the city in previous scenario, Red Army finally reached outskirts of the city and prepared assault on the city itself.
Part of the table was recreated to be similar, to table from our first game.That plane wasn’t lucky.Hungarians and Germans prepare to defend Budapest at all costs.There are several places, where Germans stored they equipment – like goliats or workshop with Tiger tank.Red Army advances into the city.Katyusha called by my Kasia (Polish short version of Catherina/Jekaterina).With support of some Panther tanks Germans and Hungarians advanced.Hungarians took position in the ruins of some wealthy palace before.Leading T-34-85 tank „Moscow” was destroyed by Panther tank.Huraaa! Red Army soldiers run to take terrain. Brave Wehrmacht soldiers advanced under fire from Katyusha.Su-76, M3-White Scout Car and many nameless soldiers advanced.Another tank losed – still we had T-34-85 number 532 „To victory” which was my first tank I painted, when I came back to hobby after years of stagnation – many thanks for this to Planszowka.pl – Rafał, Patryk and Gargamel.Order is order, infantry advances.Brave Hungarians took cover behind barricade.Another squad of German heer move passed some damaged SDKFZ.German PAK left by it crew.Katyusha hat Hungarian anti air defense.T-34-85 destroyed Puma.Victory!(*)
Summary: – one more game and we will learn more, thank you guys Rafał from Bolter.pl, our enemies from Germans&Hungarians side: Daniel, Karol, Kuba, Maciej and our side: Franek, Krzysiu and Łukasz. Thank you all for game! – it was German and Hungarians victory(*). – at least we destroyed Panther and Puma from vehicles.
Today we started Budapest campaign where Red Army attempted to take capital of Hungary from march. On they way stood German panzers from feline family, famous Tigers I, Konigtigers and the best of them – Panthers. We played in Bolter in company of good comrades – thank you Ostrów for coming to us.

🇵🇱 W minioną sobotę, jako WROHammer, zorganizowaliśmy wydarzenie poświęcone Warhammer Fantasy Battle 7. edycji w Bolter.pl we Wrocławiu. Z mojej perspektywy był to pierwszy raz, kiedy z pomocą przyjaciół zorganizowałem wydarzenie związane z hobby, w które gram od około 25 lat — wcześniej organizowałem co najwyżej piwa po pracy. Razem z Marianem chcieliśmy zorganizować WROHammer już dwa lata temu, ale pandemia zniszczyła nasze plany — na szczęście nie na zawsze. Wróciłem do tego pomysłu po tym, jak Archie napisał do mnie wiadomość po zobaczeniu mojego posta o Warhammer Fantasy Battle 7th edition. Napisałem wtedy mniej więcej coś w stylu: dlaczego by nie spotkać się i nie pograć z ludźmi z sąsiednich krajów? W końcu Wrocław nie leży daleko ani od Berlina, ani od Pragi. Żeby wydarzenie było jeszcze lepsze, zacząłem szukać sponsorów i miejsca do gry.

🇬🇧 Last Saturday as WROHammer we organised Warhammer Fantasy Battle 7th edition event in Bolter.pl, Wrocław, Poland. From my perspective first time with help of friends I organized event related to hobby I’m playing around 25 years – I’ve been organizer of after work beers only. With Marian we wanted to organize WROHammer two years ago, but pandemy destroyed our plans at least not forever. I returned to our plans after Archie wrote me message after seeing my post on – Warhammer Fantasy Battle 7th edition. Generally I wrote something, that why not meet and play with people from neighbour country? With example that Wrocław is not far away to Berlin or Prague. To make event even greater, I started looking for sponsors and place.
I want to thank sponsors for great prizes and to our host which was Bolter – we thanks for many great tables with beautiful scenery and also for many help from Piotr! I want to thank to Alessandro – for best eye in case of checking army lists, to Marian – for patience in case of adding new sponsors to our diploma, to Remo for help in things I never did and for everyone who attend our event – we played in group of British, Czechs, Italian and Poles. It was great to meet you all on our event!

🇵🇱 W piątek spędziliśmy bardzo miło czas, kiedy dotarli nasi znajomi z Czech oraz kolega z Gdyni – poszliśmy po prostu na piwo i jedzenie do restauracji Wrocławska, która znajduje się blisko Rynku. W sobotę graliśmy przez cały dzień, a potem wybraliśmy się jeszcze na afterparty do Cafe Artzat, również położonej niedaleko Rynku. Czwarta edycja WROHammera na pewno odbędzie się w przyszłości, choć pod koniec byłem już trochę zmęczony – mimo wszystko zdecydowanie było warto. Marian wrzucił tutaj sporo zdjęć.
🇬🇧 We had good time on Friday, where our friends from Czech Republic and friend from Gdynia arrived – we just went for some beers and food in Wrocławska restaurant – which is close to Rynek. On Saturday we played all day, then we went for some after party to Cafe Artzat also close to Rynek. WROHammer 4th edition will happen in the future, yet at the end I was tired a little – still it was worth of it. There are a lot of photos from Marian here.
Today we played with Maciej smaller game on 1300 points per side, he took his Empire and I took Bretonnians. We played our game on 7th edition.
Bretonnians started praying, so Empire decides to take initiative during turn one.Knights of the Blazing Sun charged Knights of the Realm.Warrior Priest issued challenge, so it was answered by Bretonnian lady.Knights of Bretonnia pursued Knights of the Blazing Sun.Empire Knights rallied, while mounted squires charged archers.This time Knights of the Realm charged. Pegasus knight tried to advance toward archers.Empire infantry turned.Some evil spell was cast on pegasus, meanwhile squires were routed by archers.Grail Knights meet they end – jet before one of them took with them warrior priest of Sigmar.The end – Bretonnian Knights of the Realm came back to the field after pursuing off the board last Empire knight.
Yesterday I managed to finish the rest of my Dunharrow for my Middle Earth warband. First part is here. Now I wait for finding someone to learn rules and play first game. I’m happy that I know several people who can teach me playing this system.
So first army was finished this year, I’m happy with that.

In movie army of Oathbreakers cleared all servants of Sauron, in book it was different – they never came to Pelleanor fields, still played they role in defeating servants of Sauron.
Yesterday we played with Jędrzej our first WFB ever – for me it was a pleasure – first time I played with Empire and Kislev against Bretonnians (I play Bretonnians since 1997’/1998′). We played on 2250 points in Bolter.pl, Wrocław, PL.

Such amazing disaster.Brave artillery crew held mounted squires.Empire archers managed to kill pegasus knight.Flank attack finally routed Knights Pannthers.Knights Errants charged Steam Tank…… and eliminated it from battle.I’be back.
Summary: – Bretonnian won this game, I believed that Steam Tank can do something, but after losing eight wounds during one combat it could just stay. – Jędrzej played last time 8-10 years ago, but he still remember rules well. – It was a pleasure to play that game. – It’s great that playing other systems we still find ppl who played WFB and they return to game. We also find ppl who never played WFB and they start playing in it.
Today we played on small battle (only three of us arrived – me, Jędrzej and Karaś) in Black Powder 2nd edition. On one side were French and on the other Spain and Russia. We played in Bolter.pl – Wrocław, PL. Many thanks for Bolter crew – today Basiorek and Rafał, as we got all terrains we need (today I was there around 6th hours).
Russianns came first and started shooting at French column with they gun battery.Russians in column to attack.French cavalry arrived on right flank.Russians turn right to welcome enemy cavalry.More and more French – Russians try to secure crossroads.Polish Uhlans Regiment in the Tzar service.French battalion took Russian battery during fight on bayonnets.Russian muskeeter batallion march to other flank…… too late to savve gun battery.Polish Uhlans charged and was countercharged.Spanish arrived in columns.Uhlans retreat after fight with cuirrasiers.French charged on unpreapared Spanish marching in column.Cavalry regiments meet again.One Russian infantry batallion was finally broken by French artillery batteries.Uhlans regrouped.Russian main battalion broken French battalion during fight on bayonnets.Spanish in column do not knew what was going on at the head of they columns.Brave batallion run for they lives…… as French batteries foccused all they fire on them.French cuirrasiers advanced.The battle was over. French lead by sir Błażej won over my Russians and Karp (if I’m correct) Spanish.
Summary: – great game as always, thank you developers from Warlord Games for it (many old game developers responsible for my belowed WFB). – we had some mindfuck with some rules, as we missed Krisu and Damian, still we had fun. – Wrocław, PL – is open to play with ppl from other countries 🙂 . – I know I had to paint more, thank you Marian for friendy reminder! To be shure, when I’m happy with painted batallion, Marian paints army. – wish all great weekend!
Music I love, even if policy sucks I like Russians and normality in contacts with Russia and Bialorussia. Let’s remember tragic fate of Romanow family.
Today with Dudzio we played game on 2250 points. I took Empire and Kislev and Dudzio took Vampire Counts. We played in Bolter, Wrocław, PL.
Both armies ready, Dudzio won initiative but decided that I will start.I rushed in Bretonnian style.Then Ungols made retreat.Ungols horse archers survived charge of Grave Guard.Crews in panic.Paniced unit forced to flee.Cavalry and Steam Tank charged…and were charged as well.The end on turn three or four.
Summary: – still learning about playing Empire and Kislev. – Dudzio is learning to play Vampire Counts. – at the moment we stopped – it was something near Draw or Minor Victory for Dudzio.

I got starter set with Dunharrow, Rohan and Mordor – I realized, that Dunharrow can be fast, nice project of people who betrayed Isildur and were cursed by him. More about them Lord of the Ring fandom. I finished some cavalry which were scouts during they live in Middle Earth.
I used several things to finish them, most of them from Games Workshop: – as base Wraith Bone, – contrast Hexwraith Flame, – Stirland Mud for bases, – Chaos Black for bases, – flowers from Gamers Grass.
Now they wait for Isildur heir, to aid him and Gondor in time of need and to receive forgivennes for breaking an oath in past. They will be joined by whole host of King of Dead and his warriors.
I realized, that it’s late but still I want to summary fucked plandemic 2021 and wish you all great 2022, wish end of plandemy of fear and return to our own lifes as it was in 2019 and at the start of 2020!
After several lockdowns I returned to playing many things like WFB, enjoyed playing Black Powder, found great ppl playing Bolt Action, had many great battles in Sharp Practice with Krissu.

– Middle Earth – army of Dunharrow almost finished, some Rohan and Mordor to be painted in the future, – Fallout, Wasteland Warfare – few bands, – Russians for Napoleonic wars – Don Cossacks regiment and Dragoon regiment, few infantry battalions, – Bretonnians and Empire with Kislev – to finish some more, to start Lizardmen army for Marian from Maniexite as he want’s to play my Lizardmen army 🙂 .
First years of plandemy made me even more lazy than before, second was even worse.
