On Sunday/Monday night I managed to do five and half hour tournee and painted whole band of Russians for The Silver Bayonet skirmish game.
Summary:
– five and half hour at night and I have one more band finished, so now it’s time to again read rules and play first game.
– I have to varnish them – as they are metal models.
– models if I’m correct are from North Star.

Top job on the painting matey 🤓well done , and a
lol in five hours 😃
Thank you for kind words 🙂 ! I coated them some days before, then realized that I want to play The Silver Bayonet – so yesterday at 20:00 I started painting and doing bases in this time as well 😀 .
You are a busy boy 😃you must be keen to play the game 😉
I’m lazy with painting, but try to change it. Have full shelf of shame 😃. Need to change it 😉.
Don’t mate your painting is great!! Everyone has there own style and yours is grand!!
Thank you! I have to paint more anyway, many models waits to be finished 😃. Here I used mainly contrasts to finish whole band as fast as possibile.
I feel there is a limit to how much effort one puts into painting, if you are doing one figure like TIM does of course you have to be very particular ,but with what you and I do i feel its a waste of time to be to finickity, best to get them all done and get on with the game or in my case finish the diorama!!
I have some models I worked longer time, but those are usually generals, wizards, large vehicles. TIM paints perferct miniatures with details. I guess it’s like you said, we have to paint alot to use them in game or on the diorama🙂.
That’s it mate!!
Nicely done! 🙂 I really like them!
Thank you 🙂!
