Ruined hamlet from Terrains4Games (🇬🇧EN/🇵🇱PL) Piątek, Czer 13 2025

🇬🇧 In recent days, I managed to finish a ruined house from Terrains4Games, on license from Eskice Miniatures. The ruins are perfect for systems like Bolt Action or Fallout: Wasteland Warfare.

One more model painted and ready to join others in post apocalyptic world of Fallout.

Fallout Wasteland Warfare – On way to pre-war factory Sobota, Mar 18 2023

After last session we failed and our team spend several weeks in the safe vault, but afterward reading some old book they realized that there is some pre-war factory which was supplying military. Maybe some stuff is still untouched? Today we played cooperative game against the game in team of four: Ola, Łukasz, Paweł and me.

Summary:
– really good game with RPG aspect, I know it will be even better with each following game.
– there are not many people who play Fallout Wasteland Warfare or probably I don’t know them.
– good Saturday time spend in Bolter.

So after once more finishing Witcher 3 I will go back to Fallout New Vegas.

Fallout: Wasteland Warfare – In search of lost artifact Wtorek, Lu 21 2023

Yesterday we played with Łukasz a game against the game – first time I was playing in cooperative way in Fallout: Wasteland Warfare and it was good experience. It was a long time ago, when I last played with Łukasz. So it was nice to play again and even some plan of playing campaign was born. I had to finish some more USA style building – the church on the table was painted by me around 1,5 year ago and finally it was used in Fallout. I got this church for Sharp Practice during American Civil War, but happilly it can be used in one more game.

We played it on Monday evening in Bolter. Need to play more often in this game, still need to change one important think in my life, as something collapsed week ago at the end of Monday.

Summary:
– great time spend on playing with Łukasz against the game. Thank you Łukasz!
– have some inspiration to finish more building and paint some more miniatures for Fallout: Wasteland Warfare.
– hope we will start some campaign against game, I bought book for it in past. Now book is under milimeters of dust.
– need to find STL. files I bought several years ago and ask someone from my friends to print some appropriate terrains.
– our team were looking for something, part of some engine or maybe a Holy Christian book – we don’t know it jet, as we weren’t able to get inside the church.

War never changes – which is quote used in Fallouts – yes, war never changes.

Church of Saint Roch Sobota, Mar 26 2022

Models assemlbed on 2n July 2021 and painted some months ago. Few more buildings for American Civil War are waiting to be finished. I have to find where I put blister with cats, so I will add one on the roof.

This building fits perfect not only for American Civil War (Black Powder/ Sharp Practice) but also for Fallout Wasteland Warfare postapocaliptic game. Model is produced by Renedra.

Fallout: Wasteland Warfare (EN🇬🇧/PL🇵🇱) Poniedziałek, Sier 5 2019

Zamiast jednej większej rozgrywki rozegraliśmy trzy scenariusze treningowe z podręcznika, dzięki którym mogliśmy przejść przez różne oblicza pustkowi: ratunek, szabrowanie i walkę o zasoby.

Jeden mutant padł, a pierwszy scenariusz dobiegł końca.

Scenariusz 2 – Fort Nellis

Druga rozgrywka była już bardziej w duchu klasycznego Fallouta – kto pierwszy zgarnie więcej wartościowego złomu albo wyeliminuje przeciwnika, ten zgarnia wygraną.
Pole bitwy stanowił improwizowany fort zbudowany z kontenerów, idealny do przeszukiwania, flankowania i szybkich akcji.

🇬🇧 Last Saturday, Dudzio and I met up at Planszóweczka to show Fallout: Wasteland Warfare to Mario and, as it turned out, also to Łukasz. Instead of one large game, we played three training scenarios from the rulebook, each showing a different side of life in the wasteland: rescue, scavenging, and fighting over resources.

Scenario 1 – Free Dogmeat

We started with a true wasteland classic – the mutants had taken the dog, and of course they were not about to give him back without a fight. Their plan was simple: trigger four traps and finish the job before anyone could interfere.
Opposing them were the Survivors, led by Nora, who moved in to free Dogmeat from the hands of his irradiated captors. The mutants tried to hold them back, but once Nora finally freed the dog, he immediately threw himself at one of his tormentors. One mutant went down, and that was the end of the first scenario.

Scenario 2 – Fort Nellis

The second game felt even more like classic Fallout – whoever grabbed more valuable loot or wiped out the enemy would come out on top.
The battlefield was an improvised fort made of containers, perfect for scavenging, flanking, and quick moves. Nora forced her way inside while the rest of the team searched through scrap outside, looking for anything that might still be worth carrying home. I did not take many photos during this one, but one thing is certain – the Survivors claimed victory thanks to taking down a mutant carrying a decent amount of valuable gear.

Scenario 3 – Water Pump Station

For the final scenario, the prize was something even more precious than caps – water.
The containers served as an improvised pumping station, with a computer in each corner controlling the system. The Survivors’ objective was to pump 30,000 litres of water. One computer generated 6,000 litres, but could only be used once per turn, while an additional station provided another 1,000 litres. The mutants, being mutants, had no interest in pumping anything – their only real goal was to wipe out the Survivors.

Once again, the wasteland proved that even a simple scenario can quickly turn into a struggle for survival, loot, and a little bit of hope. And that is exactly what I like most about this system.

Jeśli chcesz, mogę też przygotować jeszcze bardziej stylizowaną wersję – taką brzmiącą jak zapis z Pip-Boya albo wpis kronikarza z pustkowi.

🇵🇱 Podsumowanie:

🇬🇧 Summary:
– It would also be worth preparing more terrain, as the official sets are unfortunately quite expensive.
– This game has a lot of potential – I just need to get more miniatures painted and simply play it more often.
