Finally I managed to paint Cirion for Middle Earth SBG from Games Workshop. Original set is avaible here and I have to paint Beregond which is part of this blister pack. I’m happy that one more model joined ranks of painted miniatures and left box of shame.

Today I’m not sure what I did with my phone, but finally I had to do those photos grey. We played with Maxim on 900 points in Bolter on veteran Friday evening.

Somewhere in eastern Germany 1945′.

After long time ZiS-3 gun again was in my list.
German SS and some inexperienced unit.
Running forward to do recon by fight.
Scouts and BA-3/6.
Engineer team after loosing the flamethrower to enemy fire.
Pioniers moved out from Hanomag.
German sniper opened fire on ZiS-3 crew.
Tankodesantniki advanced from they tank.
Red Army engineers opened fire on pionieers.
Lone leader weren’t able to survive charge.
My infantry, almost all losed as casultaties.
Failed morale test on SS was this roll to make difference beetwen my victory or draw. It was 4:2 for me in dices.

Summary:
– thank you for one more great game Maxim.
– today there were one more game in Bolt Action and one more in Chain of Command – both systems are just different, both have pluses and minuses, both are good rulesets.

Light tank of Russian Red Army – used for scouting roles, defence of HQ and similar roles. More than 8,000 were produced – more about it HERE. Model ordered and bought in Bolter, design by Warlord Games – really good resin tank.

General d’Armee: The Revenge of the Refused flank. Sobota, Sier 12 2023

Today in Wrocław, PL – in Bolter greatest gaming centre we played one more great game in General d’Armee – today coalition of Austria, UK, Russia (including Poles loyal to the Tzar) fought battle against France. As a group we are players from Wrocław, PL, Ostrów Wielkopolski (thank you Jędrzej!), Bartek (living in Truntow, CZ). We are open to just play with ppl outside of our community – we play once a month there. Next time is 03.09 – it’s Sunday!

British, Russians in the town and French.
Our team, usually we go for a dinner after game – today I played Bolt Action after. 8 hours – my spine, something is not good at all.
Russian brigade deployed.
Hold the ground!
Ready, aim, fire!
Russian cavalry – Polish Uhlans and Don Cossacs charge!
Don Cossacs give up.
Both sides fired a lot of bullets.
Russian artillery joined shooting.
French right wing looked strong, looked.
Polish Uhlans after some loses decided.
To leave the field.
Austrians are coming to support Russians.
Fighting in the town, no one controlled it – both sides were there.

Summary:
– thank you guys for meeting and who cares about results of the game? In case of who was winner and loser – at the end good side was in better position.

 

Bolt Action: Meeting engagement with Jędrzej Sobota, Sier 12 2023

Today after game in General d’Armee with Jędrzej we played one more game in Bolt Action – we played it as part of Operation Critical Hit organized in Bolter – campaign profile on FB is HERE. Our game was full of many different actions and waiting for what our so called „enemy” do. Anyway I did some photos of this struggle on Eastern Front when my Red Army meet Jędrzej’s German Heer.

We managed to play fast game, as we played 7 turns in 2 hours – we had limit of dices – I had 12 and Jędrzej had 11.

Warlord Games resin model – M3 White Scout Car – I really like it, so I took it to my Reinforced Platoon.
Germans advances along they halftrack.
BA-3/6 go ahead, but road seems imposible to go forward.
Red Army advances on left flank.
Panzer IV – one of the best Germans tank of 2nd World War.
Finally T-34-76 arrived on the field.
Red Army veterans almost took pioniers.
Brandenburgers arrived on left flank of Red Army soldiers.
The End.

Summary:
– at the end it was 6:2 for Jędrzej, I could have maybe two or three more dices but not with such morale rolls. It was pretty nice and really good game anyway!
– we had just Reinforced Platoons on 1,000 points – no more or less.
– thank you Jędrzej for great game – playing with you and all comrades from Ostrów Wielkopolski is always great experience!
