🇵🇱 Dziś ukończyłem drugi batalion piechoty brzeskiej, litewskiej, inflanckiej i smoleńskiej — a przynajmniej mam nadzieję, że taki pułk faktycznie istniał; solidne research’e wciąż przede mną. Na razie oddział maszeruje pod sztandarem Moskwy. Planuję stworzyć brygadę złożoną z trzech batalionów.

Modele w tej jednostce to mieszanka figurek od Warlord Games i Perry Miniatures — bardzo dobrze do siebie pasują. Do malowania użyłem standardowych farb Games Workshop, w tym shade’ów i contrastów (czernie, zielenie oraz odcienie skóry). Pełną listę farb dodam później do tego posta.

Na dziś nauczyłem się jeszcze jednej rzeczy o ładownicach — w tak dużej organizacji jak armia carska ktoś najwyraźniej musiał kiedyś wysłać nie te, co trzeba 😄.

🇬🇧 Today I finished the second battalion of the Brest-Litovsk, Lithuania, Livonia, and Smolensk infantry – or at least I hope such a regiment existed; proper research is still ahead of me. For now, the unit marches under the banner of Moscow. I plan to create a brigade composed of three battalions.

The models in this unit are a mix of Warlord Games and Perry Miniatures, and they fit together well. The paints used are a combination of standard Games Workshop paints, shades, and contrasts (black, green, and skin tones). I’ll add a full list later to this post.

As of today, I’ve learned one more thing about cartridge boxes – in such a large organization as the Tsarist army, I guess someone must have sent the wrong ones at some point 😄.
