W piątek ‚weteranów‚ 12.07.2024 roku zagraliśmy scenariusz z książki „Ostfront” wydanej przez Warlord Games. Przełamanie pozycji rosyjskiej Armii Czerwonej – przez nacierające Tygrysy to było coś, co zawsze chciałem zagrać. Upamiętniliśmy zmagania zwycięskiej Armii Czerwonej z niemiecką ofensywą pod Kurskiem – „Operacja Cytadela” rozpoczęła się od huku dział wielu kalibrów z obu stron.

Naszą potyczkę w doborowym gronie rozegraliśmy we Wrocławskim klubie Bolter, Armię Czerwoną reprezentowaliśmy razem z Cornholio, po drugiej stronie trafiło się paru graczy jak Maxim, Rafał i Torgil, zmaganiom na stole kibicowało zacne grono w postaci Grześka i Witka. Graliśmy z Cornholio rolę obrońców pierwszej linii obronnej pod Kurskiem, w jednym z miejsce w którym Niemcy próbowali przełamać tą linię.

On ‚Veterans‚ Friday, July 12, 2024, we played a scenario from the book „Ostfront„ published by Warlord Games. Breaking the position of the Russian Red Army by the attacking Tigers was something I always wanted to play. We commemorated the struggles of the victorious Red Army with the German offensive near Kursk – „Operation Citadel” began with the roar of guns of many calibers from both sides.

We played our match in a select group in the Bolter club in Wrocław, we represented the Red Army together with Cornholio, on the other side there were a few players such as Maxim, Rafał and Torgil, the competition on the table was supported by a distinguished group in the form of Grzesiek and Witek. Cornholio and I played the role of defenders of the first defensive line near Kursk, one of the places where the Germans tried to break through this line.

Posumowanie:
– mieliśmy jako Armia Czerwona nieco ponad 2k wobec 4k+ Niemców, nie daliśmy rady, ale bardzo dobrze się bawiliśmy!
– nie było wśród nas graczy którzy przesadzają z rozpiskami – rozpiski były dość umowne!
– z Cornholio przegraliśmy walkę o pierwszą linię, witamy na kolejnych dwóch 😉 .
– Armia Czerwona na szczęścię tą wielką bitwę wygrała!

Summary:
– we had as Red Army just over 2k against 4k+ of Germans, we couldn’t handle it, but we had a lot of fun!
– there were no players among us who exaggerated with the schedules – the schedules were quite conventional!
– We lost the fight for the first line with Cornholio, welcome to the next two 😉 .
– Fortunately, the Red Army won this great battle!
