Today with Maxim we played scenario number 5 from rulebook – Top secret – we rolled for scenario before our game started. We played on 1,000 points per side, both troops have many veteran units and I guess on both sides were one unit of conscripts.

Somewhere in Hungary during Bagration Operation, close to the end of war, some German plane crashed with some important documents on it board – during fight both sides saw crashing plane and both decided that they should check plane – maybe pilots are alive or maybe there are some important officer? Soviet scouts were close, but German pionieers were even faster. Both sides decided that they want to check what is inside cabin of crashed plane.

Everything small town needs, graveyard, church, houses.

Veterans from Stalingrad and opposite to them German Hanomag full of Pionieers.
First unit pinned were Soviet veterans.
More troops in the city center bravely fighting without looking for anything.

Scouts knowing value of plane emerged as last unit.
Mortar tried to hit on German penal squad.
Sniper duel. Behind wall are German pionieers with Goliat.
Heavy street fighting occured beetwen Germans and Russians.

destroying one of the last BA-3/6 on the European front.
Finally German sniper won a duel.
Less and less Red Army soldiers.
Pionieers used radio to move Goliat toward Soviet truck.
When Red Army officer with map get into truck (it was M3 White Scout Car – I forgot model), Goliat damaged it wheel (Immobilizing it).
Bayonnet fixed, Huraaa!
Scouts runned from building and took maps and other documents from wounded officer.
With loses of several comrades they managed to pass morale on one pin and run away.
Then End.

Summary:
– as I managed to take documents out from this part of town running away from it with scouts, I managed to be a winner. STAWKA got several interesting documents and maps, great job scouts – orders are waiting for you!
– I used truck as M3 White Scout Car – I forgot to take it. Need to make my box more flexible with units I mostly use.
– playing scenarios make more fun from this game, I think so.

Red Blitz – when Soviet Army finally after heavy fights on Russian soil pushed Germans to they allies our occupied territories.
